In the film Punk: Attitude someone mentioned how punk was in the spotlight in the late 1970's and even somewhat in the early 1980's but it seemed to disappear during the late 1980's - but the fact was - it didn't disappear, it just went underground, the media wasn't paying attention (and that was a 'good' thing!) and we were free to do what we wanted, and the people involved were the ones who really cared about it. Then the 1990's came, and “alternative” was all the rage, and everyone was out to make a buck off of “punk rock” so…
